Azadeh May Dianat, DDS
Dr. May obtained her bachelor of science in biology from Georgia State University. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from New York University College of dentistry in 2018. She then participated in an intense General Practice Residency (GPR) program in Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn focusing on root canal treatments and implant surgeries. Since then, she has practiced dentistry in New York City as an associate and taken numerous continuing education courses on cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation.
Three forces in her career drive Dr. May. The first is her natural curiosity and thirst for learning, the second is her strive for perfection and the last and the most important one is the joy she feels when at the end of the treatment she sees the big smile on her patient’s face.
When Dr. May is not working she enjoys reading non-fiction books, music, traveling, swimming, and cooking for her friends and family.
Mehrnaz Golmakani, DDS
Dr. Mehrnaz Golmakani earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the esteemed New York University College of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class. Her academic excellence earned her induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and recognition as the recipient of the Quintessence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Periodontics.
Following her graduation, Dr. Golmakani completed a year-long General Practice Residency at NYU Langone Health in Brooklyn, concentrating on aesthetic dentistry, periodontics, and prosthodontics. She then pursued an additional three years of advanced specialty training in the distinguished Advanced Education Program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry.
Upon completion of her specialty training, Dr. Golmakani was honored with both the Leadership and Clinical Excellence Awards, a unique distinction historically awarded to only one graduate. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
In her personal life, Dr. Golmakani enjoys swimming and tennis, and she is passionate about animal welfare, often serving as a foster parent for animals in need.
Elaine Romano, Hygienist
Elaine is the very sort of experienced and personable Dental Hygienist you want tending to you when you’re in the chair. When asked what her favorite part of the job is, she replied, very simply, “my wonderful patients.”
Elaine, a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), has been caring for patients for over 25 years since earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She works very hard to make her patients comfortable and help them achieve the best possible oral and overall health.
Outside of the office, Elaine is very involved in cat rescue and enjoys knitting, reading, and spending time with her family and her many cats.
